Creating Lasting Impact

Welcome to the Rotary E-Club of Uganda Global.

It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as the 7th President of this remarkable club during the 2026–2027 Rotary year. Whether you are a member, an aspiring Rotarian, a partner, or a visitor to our website, I warmly welcome you and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Rotary family.

Our club is built on a simple but powerful belief: that ordinary people, united by a shared commitment to Service Above Self, can create extraordinary and lasting change in the world.

My passion for service began long before I became a Rotarian. Inspired by my late father, Christopher Obace, I learned that true leadership is about responding to the needs of others, especially those that are often overlooked. That lesson shaped my life and eventually led me to Rotary—a place where I found a global family that shares the same commitment to improving lives through service.

This Rotary year, we are inspired by Rotary International President Olayinka Hakeem Babalola's theme, "Create Lasting Impact," and guided by our District Governor's call to embrace "Crazy Ideas and the Little Things." Together, these messages challenge us to think boldly, serve compassionately, and recognise that lasting impact is created through both visionary ideas and consistent acts of kindness.

As Uganda's first fully online Rotary club, we celebrate the power of technology to connect professionals, leaders, and changemakers across communities and countries. Our digital platform enables us to build friendships, exchange ideas, and deliver meaningful service without borders.

Our strategic focus for the year is Membership Growth and Visibility anchored in Creating Lasting Impact. We are committed to creating an engaging and welcoming club experience where every member feels valued, every voice is heard, and every individual has an opportunity to lead and serve.

We will continue to strengthen our support for The Rotary Foundation, expand strategic partnerships, invest in impactful community projects, and proudly tell the story of Rotary through innovation, collaboration, and service.

And to those considering joining Rotary, I invite you to become part of a global network of people who are committed to making a positive difference in their communities and beyond.
